Countdown?

I'm just now beginning to hear the words "your last class" and can almost feel the freedom. That is, after I finish my thesis, complete all of my theory assignments I haven't done since Spring Break, and study rhetorical criticism for a test on Friday. I shall overcome.

Yesterday in IM softball I played catcher and stopped a runner cold blocking the plate, and today I hit a home run - this made me happy, I was hoping to get at least one HR in before I call it a career and hang-up my undergrad softball spikes - hopefully I get to play catcher again tomorrow, I really like playing in the field.

I haven't been able to watch many Jays games lately, although they're slumping pretty badly now, with our good pitching hopefully it's as short-lived as Michael Jordan's first retirement. One thing I did notice watching a Twins game recently was that Minnesota Twins' pitcher Dennys Reyes, the Rich Garces of the southpaw world, looks remarkably similar to Sergeant Garcia of the old Zorro show
One piece of advice: Tropical shakes at Sonic are the best - especially with the weather warming up, these fruit concoctions are my new favorite drink
In other daily show news do have to say though, I saw this and it made me laugh so hard

Damn we have a dumb president. Even if Obama's a Keynesian disciple, really, besides Ron Paul what dumb pol. isn't, plus I recently read his economic advisor is Austan Goolsbee, someone I studied and cited quite liberally in a review of internet tax policy last year. The guy's money.
