A Migraine

It turns out my cold was not a cold, but a terrible migraine, and the worst physical pain I have ever endured. I had to go to a general practitioner (G.P.) twice, take something for it, take Motrin, and get an injection in my butt. I think I got it either after a sinus infection gone awry, or, I specifically remember feeling it begin after I sneezed extremely hard one time late Thursday night or early Friday morning.

Of the most painful physical things I've ever felt before - a fever blister behind my eye, a scary MRSA staph infection (from a scarcely hygienic gym), broken my right foot (in high school, from a cable snapping off of a winch of one car that was attempting to pull another out of some deep mud), sprained both ankles 3 or 4 times
mostly from soccer and sometimes basketball, broken left ankle, an errant eyelash which got under my eyelid, got infected & in turn infected my eye - this's been by far, by far, the most intensely painful and terrible physical pain I have ever endured. I'm cautiously taking steps forward, and feel much better than before, and thankfully, the two part-time externs are both working today, and my colleagues were kind enough to tell me to take the day of, to take good care of myself & rest today.
