Palin for V.P.?

Who is Sarah Palin? Spiro Agnew.

1. Both were governors of their states for two years (Palin of Alaska, 47th largest state in the Union, Agnew of Maryland, seat of the capital of the US)
2. Even in their short stints as governor, both face implication in serious corruption scandals during their terms (Palin, Agnew)
3. Both were their candidates' last choices, Nixon decided on Agnew in desperation, and McCain, unable to choose Tom Ridge or Lieberman because both are pro-choice, settled on a complete unknown.

One thing I do find particularly hilarious: Obama was responsible for more constituents as a Chicago city alderman than Palin was as governor of her state.
